10th December 2024: We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant, this is a paid, Remote role (must have a home office and good Wi-Fi)
We are seeking a highly organised and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to support our Trustees, Action Team, and Project Coordinators in delivering impactful climate action projects. This is a flexible, part-time, self-employed role (averaging 9 hours per week) working closely with the Project Coordinator. Hours arranged by mutual agreement. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team with meeting records, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions and actions.
- Maintain and update databases and online files, ensuring records are well-organised and up-to-date.
- Assist with website updates (training will be provided).
- Support communications, including incoming emails and creating and sending bulk emails using Mailchimp.
- Perform general administrative tasks so the organisation runs smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ideally, Zoom and Mailchimp (training will be given).
- Ability to work remotely and manage your own time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
- Must be able to take initiative and solve problems independently.
Other Requirements:
- A reliable home office setup and a stable internet connection are essential.
- Applicants must live in, or near Dorset, and be able to travel to some in person meetings in Dorset as required.
Pay: £15 per hour - 9 hours per week. This is a target average during term time and actual invoiced hours will fluctuate according to demand. Some hours will be necessary during school holidays and for early evening meetings (self-employed contract)
