Well we all have to start somewhere! This late 1970s end of terrace house was occupied for 40 years by a confirmed bachelor smoking 40 cigarettes a day, so its not pretty!
But it has insulation and old storage heaters provided under the Warm Fronts Scheme for the disabled 20 years ago, and now new double glazed windows and solar panels with battery, soon to be earning pennies from Octopus. The new owner is learning fast. If you’re lucky the scaffolding will have gone by the time you visit.
