The modern, industrial food system is failing us. It is inadequate to the task of meeting the nutritional, cultural and sustenance needs of most people around the world.’

But what does this have to do with property?

Olivia Oldham will stretch the way we think about our food by focusing on the role of land ownership in food systems now and how it could be in the future – a challenging topic.

A stimulating presentation by Olivia will be followed by the chance to ask questions, to reflect together and to imagine possible futures, based on what we have heard.

Olivia Oldham is a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh investigating how property relations affect food system transformations. She is also a journalist, and works with the award-winning podcast Farmerama Radio.
